THE GENERAL COUNCIL
In pursuance of Clause (ii) of Sub Section 2 of Section 9 of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009, as amended, and in pursuance of the decision of the Hon’ble Chancellor of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam to nominate the members under the Act to the General Council and on receipt of nomination from the State Govt. Vide letter no. JDJ.(E)161/2006/169, dated Dispur the 27th Jan/2014, the General Council of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam, has been re-constituted with the following members. As per the above mentioned Clause the term of office of the nominated members of the General Council other than the ex-officio members shall be three years.
